ANGELS ARE WATCHING OVER ME

For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone.

—PSALM 91:11–12

IN VERSES 11 AND 12 God makes another unique promise concerning an additional dimension of our protection. This is one of the most precious promises of God, and He put it right here in Psalm 91. In fact, this is one of the promises Satan used to test Jesus.

Angels are spirits who serve God and are sent to help those who will receive salvation. Even though many Christians quote verses 11 and 12 as one of their favorite passages within Psalm 91, they give very little thought about the magnitude of what their families are escaping on a regular basis. Only after we get to heaven will we realize all the things from which we were spared because of the intervention of God’s angels on our behalf.
